When Sutton gets dumped right before what was supposed to be a romantic Christmas weekend getaway in the mountains, she makes a Christmas vow: a man free Christmas. She's going to finish writing her Christmas novel in peace and have a nice time skiing and reading books by the fire.
But the Christmas fates are against her.
First she meets a charming man with an accent, who may or may not be royalty, and who asks her to meet at the grandfather clock at midnight. Next she collides with an arrogant but handsome ski-instructor, who challenges her to a midnight race. Not to mention that the adventure novel she's writing about a missing jewel-complete with cliffhanging adventures, and handsome, mysterious strangers-is starting to seem just a bit too close to real life.
Will she ever finish that novel? Will she find love before the Christmas ball? There's only one way to find out!
